About SRQ Building Group

Rob's passion for building is in the genes. His father was a builder who Rob accompanied to job sites even as a child, allowing him to gain years of valuable experience; it was in these early days that he would also foster the passion that would inspire him to eventually start his own contracting business. In his teenage years, Rob began physically working at construction locations, and even after he began attending Rutgers University, he still made time to help his dad on weekends and during summers.

He graduated from Rutgers Business School with a BS and proceeded to spend the next 25 years on Wall Street in finance, accumulating a wealth of financial knowledge in the process. That experience gives him a unique financial perspective in the contracting business — Rob truly understands how to exceed the expectations of his clients while also understanding and complying with any economic hurdles.

Even with his success in the financial sector, Rob knew his true calling was the one he had discovered as a kid. He decided to start his own construction business and has never looked back. Rob is proud to bring the visions of his exceptional clients to life.

Kim came from a very creative group of artists and interior designers, and had a passion for creativity from a young age. She started her career in the fashion industry, working there for eight years after graduating college, before transitioning into interior design — first with a large firm, then starting her own business when she had three small children and needed more flexibility in her schedule.

Kim has partnered with Rob since he started his construction business, assisting clients with design selections to help them create beautiful homes ranging in style from luxurious to eclectic, yet always warm and inviting. Her main goal when working with clients is to help them implement their vision and personal style throughout their homes.

Kim also holds a Florida Real Estate License to help SRQ Building Group clients find the right property to build their dream home or the best property options for a remodel. Although she enjoys all aspects of design, her favorite spaces to work on are kitchens and bathrooms, since both make a significant visual impact and represent some of the largest investments in a home. She also holds a culinary diploma and enjoys sharing meals with family and friends whenever possible.
