Design Services

Kim, a New York native, grew up with a passion for working with color, textiles, and has always had an eye for aesthetics. She initially channeled these artistic sensibilities into a career in NYC's fashion industry, but later found interior design to be an even better fit. Kim says, "There is something so special about helping people create the home of their dreams and giving them a beautiful space that they can enjoy and share with their family and friends."

After working for a design firm in Connecticut, Kim moved to New Jersey with Rob and their three children and started her own design consulting business. In addition to advising her own clients on design selections, she has helped Rob refurbish countless houses over the past two decades. In 2020, COVID gave Kim and her family the opportunity to relocate to the sunny Sarasota area and leave the cold behind. Kim started her design career in Florida as a lead designer at Clive Daniel, working with numerous clients and building relationships with local vendors and representatives. Missing the entrepreneurial side of things, Kim launched SRQ Interior Design Group in 2024.

Kim has created spaces in every style, from luxurious to eclectic, and all of her designs are imbued with a sense of warmth and beauty. Her approach involves helping clients feel comfortable with the design process rather than overwhelmed by it, ensuring their personal tastes are incorporated throughout. Her work has even been featured on HGTV's "Curb Appeal."
